First Look ~ Day SS13

Take a sneak peek at the beautiful SS13 Day Birger Et Mikkelsen collection arriving in the New Year. This season, the focus lies on dresses and soft tailoring with a slight sportswear feel throughout. Ethnic detailing features strongly, in keeping with the bohemian styling Day is famous for. Anya Hindmarch ~ All I ever wanted

Anya Hindmarch has re created her first London Fashion Week show in the Christmas windows of Selfridges this season, and what a perfect match it makes, seeing as the 'All I Ever Wanted' collection is inspired by the excited feeling a child experiences when looking through a toy shop window at Christmas! New to ANNA this season is Bodyfrock - a brand that creates dresses that are engineered to enhance your finest features thanks to a special control lining invisible from the outside. There is no way anyone can look bad in one of these dresses - 'the inside lining should fit slim and taught like a corset', smoothing out any lumps and bumps, delivering confidence every wear! Bleulab is a new brand to us this season, bringing lots of excitement to the denim market with probably one of the best ideas ever....reversible jeans.

JUST IN ~ Anya Hindmarch AW12

 This year, Anya Hindmarch staged her first ever London Fashion Week show, which you can see here, and it was something quite spectacular. The inspiration for the collection came from the memory of being a child and peering through shop windows at Christmas time with all the enticing boxes and toys that lights up and flash. Quality Street wrappers also feature a strong influence in the collection through the use of the foil wrappers and colour to create the most innovative leather finishes.

The best part of all, is that some of the bags come packaged liked toys! Not only that, some of the classics, like the Marano clutch have been given a seasonal make over and renamed the 'Marano Dancer' because, yes you've guessed it, it now comes with tiny flashing LED lights!  As Anya says, "After all bags are like toys to us girls!". The surprises don't just end there - Expect to find a special collaboration with British shoe designer Terry De Havilland. His classic platform style has been reworked using Anya's beautiful colour palette, and also comes packaged like a toy!

1. Always plan your outfits before you leave to avoid overpacking! Choose a few accessories and no more than two footwear options that you can mix and match with your chosen looks. Always try and think about changing your outfit or look with accessories rather than clothes. 

2. The first thing you should pack is your footwear as this takes up the most room. Place your beach towel over the top to protect your garments.

3. Pack all your toiletries in a nylon washbag in the middle layers of your suitcase so they are protected from smashing and leaking.

4. Pack all your jewellery in your clutch bag to avoid anything catching your garments. 

5. On the top layer neatly fold all your garments and then fill pockets and any small gaps with swimwear and underwear.

ANNA WOODBRIDGE OPENING

The much anticipated opening of ANNA Woodbridge finally took place this week on the 12th July. The double fronted store located at the top of Church Street is now home to some fantastic  labels such as Acne, Maison Scotch, Tucker, Issa,  One Season, Selected, By Second Female, DL1961 Premium Denim , Laboratory Perfumes, Splendid, and many more. A great mix of casual-occasion wear, day-to-night, there really is something for everyone!

For the opening, Anna wore a Tucker  dress in the striking 'oh the gaule' print. Jojo, Manager of Woodbridge, wore a dress by New York designer Milly and Sarah Jane, General Manager, wore the 'Kenya'dress by one of our best selling labels, Selected.

The Woodbridge store is perfect to shop or browse at one's leisure ~ Walking through the main entrance of our new store you will find an area dedicated to ANNA'S  new Autumn collections, which are arriving thick and fast! There is also a Sale room where you can pick up some fantastic bargains for your Summer holiday and a beautiful private changing area.
