This year, Anya Hindmarch staged her first ever London Fashion Week show, which you can see here, and it was something quite spectacular. The inspiration for the collection came from the memory of being a child and peering through shop windows at Christmas time with all the enticing boxes and toys that lights up and flash. Quality Street wrappers also feature a strong influence in the collection through the use of the foil wrappers and colour to create the most innovative leather finishes.
The best part of all, is that some of the bags come packaged liked toys! Not only that, some of the classics, like the Marano clutch have been given a seasonal make over and renamed the 'Marano Dancer' because, yes you've guessed it, it now comes with tiny flashing LED lights! As Anya says, "After all bags are like toys to us girls!". The surprises don't just end there - Expect to find a special collaboration with British shoe designer Terry De Havilland. His classic platform style has been reworked using Anya's beautiful colour palette, and also comes packaged like a toy!
